Seen on the far away shores, Venus is her name,
I have waited many moons, for these stars to align
We have sacrificed, to see the eyes of god
Behold her beauty, embrace the dawn
Bring me paradise, oh our new sabbath
Oh our great spirit, inhale her deep within
She takes away all the pain and sorrow, Venus now in place
I will take her hand and torch the stars, Venus is her name
Bring me paradise forever, take my people home
Yeah the sky and the sea are falling, I will meet you there
We have dreamt of the day we see her, Venus is her name
With contempt and love we hold her, take my people home
She takes away all the pain and sorrow, Venus now in place
I will take her hand and torch the stars, Venus is her name

The recipe is equal parts heavy and psychedelic sounds! Distorted guitars lay the foundation. Heavily distorted Hendrixian guitar solo’s screaming over backdrops of raw scuzzy acidic proto-doom ! Stephan

The psychedelic escapades of mr. Harlon and his flock of dead crows are a new discovery for me, but one of my favourites in the past few years. Dark exploration of the human state, but with a tint of hope and determination. Vanja

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
